What is the Manners and Socialization Class?
This six-week group class is designed for dogs and owners at any skill level. Whether you are just getting started or looking to build on what your dog already knows, this class meets you where you are. Over six Sunday sessions you and your dog will work on real world skills like loose leash walking, greeting people politely, staying calm around other dogs, and responding reliably to basic commands.
Small Class sizes mean more individual attention, and every session is led by a certified trainer with hands-on experience in real world environments.
This class follows the AKC Canine Good Citizen curriculum and testing is included.
What to Bring
A standard six foot leash and a flat buckle collar. No retractable leashes or prong collars please. Martingale collars work well for anti-slip.
Optional materials:
High value treats your dog already knows and loves. Training treats will be provided
A treat pouch if you have one. Extras are available if needed.
A mat or small blanket if your dog has one they are comfortable with. Mats will be provided but familiar items from home can help your dog settle faster and focus better.
